Penskills Publishing was founded in February 2015 by David Colane. Based in the historical town of Newark on Trent, the company has stirred up much local interest and attracted interest from national organisations in response to the launch of its new super hero Miranda Knight. 'WHOOSH!' sees the beginning of a series of children's adventure stories that give out a clear message regarding bullying and lack of concern for those less fortunate. 'Miranda Don't Open Your Eyes!' is comical and exciting with a dash of heartfelt compassion. A book that all parents would want their children to read.

A book based on the life and times of betting shop legend Barry Coombs is due for release on 21st October. 'On My Life' reveals the private background and adventures of the iconic William Hill manager. During almost 40 years in bookmaking, Barry was robbed at gunpoint twelve times. Incredibly, he has to date personally raised over half a million pounds for seriously and terminally ill children. Don't miss this one! New author Jan Mount releases her first novel, 'Fame And Misfortune' on the 27th October. Coinciding with recent revelations concerning the governing powers of football, this story of greed, corruption and treachery entwines with murder love and betrayal. It portrays the very thin line between truth and fiction.
